Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
Can you build without installing the ladder just yet? My almost two year old can’t be trusted with that just yet.
Hi Brook. Thank you for inquiring about the adorable Eloise house bunk bed. The bunk bed is safety tested as designed, and so should be assembled as shown in the photos. The ladder provides stability for the guard rails on the top bunk bed. Please let us know if we can answer any other questions! 😄
Hi - What is the weight limit on the top bunk?
Hello! Bunk beds are not rated for specific weights, but our Eloise house bunk bed has been safety tested to support 400 pounds of rolling weight per bed. Please let us know if we can answer any other questions!
Hi, could this bed be painted?
Hi there! Thank you for contacting us about the adorable Eloise bunk bed. Yes this bunk bed can be painted, but it has a natural color finish on it. You would paint it the same way you would paint other furniture that is already painted or stained. Please let us know how else we can help!
Is there a bottom on the lower bed for a mattress to sit on or does it sit directly on the floor
Hi there. The lower mattress would sit directly on the floor. If you would like to elevate the mattress a little, we have a twin size slat kit that would fit under the bottom mattress. We're happy to answer any other questions you have!
