Assemble with or without the included legs. Remove the front rail for a daybed or both long-side rails for a more open bed. Add a compatible conversion kit to create a regular-height bed, low loft or bunk bed.
Conversion kits are sold separately. Bunk conversion requires two Luca beds and a compatible bunk conversion kit.

Yes. The Luca can be assembled with or without its included 4-inch legs. Without the legs, the mattress rests on 11 solid wood support slats approximately 1 inch above the floor. No box spring is required.
Can the opening be placed on either side?
