This mattress is six inches thick making it ideal for our loft beds and bunk beds, so that enough guard rail extends above the mattress to keep your little one safe all night.  This mattress also fits our trundle beds.

A quilted fabric cover and inner foam layer provide comfort and resilience, while heavy gauge steel coils offer lasting support. Because your family's safety is as important as its comfort, this spring mattress has a fire resistant barrier that's tested to ensure it meets safety standards. For easy shipping and simple set up, this mattress comes compressed and rolled.

    • Hi, I would like to ask about your innerspring mattress. Would it be too tall for a 2 1/2 year old toddler to climb in and out on a house bed that has legs? What are the layers like inside this bed? does it contain any toxic chemical? And I assume it does not need a box spring underneath for support? Thank you for your time.

      Hello!  Thank you for inquiring about our mattress.  The mattress is the right height for the house bed with legs.  It won't be too tall.  You do not want to use a box springs because it would make the mattress too tall.  The mattress is made of durable steel coils and plush comfort foam.  It meets all applicable safety standards.  Let us know if we can answer any other questions!

    • Does this mattress fit well with the Luca Montessori Floor Bed with Rails for a three year old? Curious if there's enough space from the top of the mattress to the top of the rails for this to be a safe mattress?
